Why choose composite?

Well-built wood decks can last about 20 years if properly taken care of, but the shortfalls of wood-topped decks come with maintenance. A wood deck is a cheaper alternative up-front, but after your second stain (typically within 2-3 years) the cost of your project is now comparable to the price of an entry-level composite deck board.

Composite decks offer a solution to this. Made of up to 90% recycled plastic, these boards do not rot, stain, or fade. Along with these advantages, composite decks need very little maintenance.
